Tamara Davis, Quality Manager

Tamara Davis, R.T.(R)(T), ROCC, QM, attended the University of Akron where she earned her college degree in Applied Science in 1993. She completed her clinical assignment for Radiologic Technology at Akron Children’s Hospital and obtained her certification in Radiologic Technology with a focus in Radiography in 1993. That same year, Tamara was accepted to the Cleveland Clinic School of Radiation Therapy where she obtained her certification in Radiation Therapy in 1994. In 2008, she earned a certification as a Radiation Oncology Certified Coder.

Tamara worked at the Cleveland Clinic from 1994 to 1997 as a staff Radiation Therapist. She was hired at Lake Health/University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center (then known as Lake/University Ireland Cancer Center) in 1997 as a Staff Radiation Therapist. In 2000 she was promoted to Chief Radiation Therapist, and in 2007, she became our Quality Manager.

Tamara was born and raised in Wintersville, Ohio, a small town where her parents and several relatives still reside. She is the oldest of three daughters. She currently lives in Mentor, Ohio and has two children, Alyssa and Tyler, who are such a joy to her. She enjoys many sports, playing piano and cycling.
