If you’ve read our staff biographies, you probably noticed that a number of the staff at the Lake Health/University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center have had friends and relatives who have battled cancer.
So we understand that in the fight against cancer, you may need more support than just medical treatment. And we want to help.
You might need health information. You may want to meet and talk with other friendly, supportive people who understand what you’re going through. You may want someone to help explain your medical insurance (always a confusing topic). Whatever you need, please review the links in the menu to the right to find the support services we provide to our patients.
And if you need any assistance that isn’t listed, please don’t hesitate to ask! We will do our best to help.
If you see a dog in our Center, it’s probably one of our therapy dogs, like Nicky here with his handler Candace. Gentle and friendly, these wonderful canines love attention. Feel free to de-stress by meeting and petting them!
