Clinical Trial Gives New Hope
When Reta Ritondaro’s lung cancer returned, she was afraid she wouldn’t be around to see her grandson grow up. But then Rita was given a second chance through a clinical trial at UH Seidman Cancer Center.
Jeff Pringle, a patient at Lake Health/University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center, was the 26th recipient for Life Is Good No Matter What. The organization sent Jeffrey and his wife, Karen, to the Grand Canyon, allowing them to revisit the exact spot where they were engaged 25 year ago.
The mission of Life Is Good No Matter What is to give adults with advanced cancer a break and escape from their battle and diagnosis through a cherished experience. To learn more about the organization, visit their website.
